The Syracuse Flying Club is a not-for-profit membership corporation located at Syracuse Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, New York. We are dedicated to the promulgation of general aviation and providing our members with safe flying at the lowest possible cost. We welcome student pilots, private pilots, commercial pilots and ATPs. All Directors and Officers are volunteers and receive no compensation.
Advantages of a flying club:
Lower cost than owning your own aircraft or renting.
Greater availability than rented: The average flying time per
aircraft during a year is approximately one hour per day. The
aircraft may be taken on trips that are overnight or a few days.
Club insurance normally covers the members' needs. FBO renters
typically should carry renter's insurance.
Club members share experiences and flying.
Experience requirements:
None for students.
Cost of flying (effective 8/1/06): Membership:
Student Pilot Membership - For primary student pilots (those working on obtaining a
Private Pilot Certificate), there is a non-refundable membership fee of $250.00.

fee of $250.00 is due to remain an active member of the Club. Student pilots will have
the use of the Piper Warrior.

who can get you through it. Combined with thousands of hours of experience.
You'll feel safe and be safe.
